Chris Cobb
Menlo College
5'8" | Sophomore | G | Castro Valley, CA
The Menlo sophomore helped his team to three consecutive wins over
Simpson, Pacific Union, and UC Santa Cruz. He scored a season-hig
28 points against Simpson, making 6-of-9 from behind the three-point
line. Against PUC, he scored 11 points and made three three-pointers.
Cobb shot a .600 percentage from behind the three-point line (9-of-15)
during the week and currently stands in first place in the Cal Pac
with a .508 conference three-point shooting percentage (31-of-61).
Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week
Pat Fahy
Dominican University of California
6'6" | Sophomore| F| Novato, CA
Pat Fahy scored 11 points in a non-conference victory against NCAA
Division III UC Santa Cruz. He also grabbed three rebounds and had
a block and a steal.
The sophomore sharp-shooter carried the Penguins to victory with
his 10-of-14 shooting on Saturday against CSU East Bay. The sophomore
scored 30 points, his second highest single game total, and was
five of eight from downtown and perfect from the charity stripe.
He also pulled down eight rebounds and had three assists. Fahy is
second in the California Pacific Conference in scoring, averaging
18.55 points per game and 3.27 three-pointers a game, fourth in
field goal percentage (.511), and one percentage point behind the
leader in three-point percentage (.507).

Marshall Hartman

6'7" | Senior | C| Portland, OR
The senior scored 31 points, his second highest single game total
this season, against CSU East Bay. He scored 11 points against Simpson.
The center grabbed three rebounds in each game. Hartman went 5-of-8
(.620) from behind the three-point line during the week.

Martha Spivey
Holy Names University
6'1" | Junior | F| Manteca, CA
Spivey earns Cal Pac Player of the Week honors for her performances
against CSU East Bay and Simpson last week. The junior forwared
scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds against CSUEB and scored
10 points and pulled down nine boards against Simpson. She shot
.730 (11-of-15) from the field during the week and had four blocks.

Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Aaron Gentry
Menlo College
6'10" | Senior | C | Riverbank, CA
Menlo's Aaron Gentry wins the honor for the second straight week
after posting back-to-back double-doubles at home this past week.
The senior center scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against
CSU East Bay and recorded 18 points and 16 rebounds against CSU
Maritime Academy. Against Bethany, he scord only six points but
grabbed 13 rebounds. He shot .500 from the field for the week and
had six blocks. The senior's peformance has helped the Oaks string
together a four game winning streak.

Kelci Fushikoshi
#14 Menlo College
5'7" | Sophomore | G | Lahaina, HI
Sophomore Kelci Fushikoshi is a major part of the the third best
scoring defense in the nation, holding opponents to an average of
51.3 points a game. She scored 34 points in three games, averaging
11.3 points per game and 3.3 rebounds per game. She also averaged
2.3 assists per game and made seven three-pointers during the week.

Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Aaron Gentry
Menlo College
6'10" | Senior | C | Riverbank, CA
Despite a loss to rival Dominican, Gentry shot five of six for 16
points. He also pulled down four rebounds and had three assists.
The senior tied his career high of 26 points in a win at Simpson,
shooting an impressive 11 of 12 from the field. He also had four
blocks against the Red Hawks. For the week, Gentry shot .890 from
the field and was perfect (three of three) from behind the three
point line.

Vanessa Irving
Bethany University
5'11" | Senior | F | Elk Grove, CA
The senior helped the Bruins to two wins on the week with her well
rounded play. At Simpson, Irving recorded a double-double with 17
points and 14 rebounds. She also recorded four assists and a block.
She followed that performance with a 20 point, five rebound effort
to lift Bethany over visiting CSU East Bay. In that game, she recorded
three more assists and had three steals. For the week, the forward
shot .600 (15 of 25) from the field and was .880 (seven of eight)
from the free-throw line.

Pat Fahy

6'6" | Sophomore | F | Novato, CA
Fahy earns his second Cal Pac Player of the Week honor this week,
having earned the season's first honor. Fahy scored a game-high
31 points and snatched six rebounds in a win over Pacific Union,
shooting 10 of 15 from the field. He also shot 5 of 8 from behind
the three-point line and was perfect from the free throw line. Against
Bethany, the sophomore had team-highs with 23 points and seven rebounds.
He shot an astounding seven of eight from behind the three point
line.

Kepua Lee
#15 Menlo College
5'8" | Junior | G | Honolulu, HI
With the honor, Lee earns her fourth honor of the season. The junior
guard is currently ranked fifth in the nation in scoring, averaging
22.1 points per game, including a 33-point night in a 77-57 victory
over RV Holy Names University. Lee is 24 in the nation in rebounds
while leading the California Pacific Conference, averaging 8.73
a game. Twice in six days, Lee scored over 30 points with a 34-point
win over William Jessup. She finished the week 14 of 33 from the
field and 13 of 18 from the free throw line.

Nick Stephens
Holy Names University
6'5" | Senior | F | San Diego, CA
Nick Stephens averaged 26.7 points per game on the week, leading
HNU to 3-0 on the week. He scored 29 points against CSU East Bay
and followed that with a 32 point performance against Simpson. The
senior shot .640 from the field and was an amazing .620 from behind
the three-point arc. He also averaged four rebounds per game.

6'1" | Junior | F | San Francisco, CA
Ashley Butler led her team to a 3-0 week with wins over CSU East
Bay, Simpson, and Dominican. She shot .690 from the field to average
17.7 points per game, scoring a season-high 26 against CSU East
Bay.

6'5" | Senior | F | Sacramento, CA
Joseph Mitchell earns his second Player of the Week honor this season
after scoring 21 points and pulling down eight rebounds in a win
at Dominican and recording a double-double (16 points, 13 rebounds)
in a win at Bethany. The six-foot-five senior helped William Jessup
to a perfect 5-0 Cal Pac mark shooting .520 from the field and .920
from the free throw line.

Olivia Williams

5'10" | Junior | F | Vallejo, CA
Olivia Williams earns Cal Pac Player of the Week for her efforts
in wins over William Jessup University and Simpson University. The
five-foot-ten junior scored 20 points and 17 points in the two wins.
The forward also pulled down seven rebounds and shot .670 from the
field and free throw line.

Ari Iventosch

6'2" | Freshman | G | Colfax, CA
The freshman turned in an eleven point performance to upset #12
Dordt College 70-64 on Friday night. On Saturday, Iventosh pulled
down seven rebounds and scored a team-high 17 points while playing
at four different positions in an overtime win over College of Fraser
Valley.

Kepua Lee
#13 Menlo College
5'8" | Junior | G | Honolulu, HI
For the first time in Menlo College women's basketball history,
junior Kepua Lee achieved the 1,000 point mark. She has had four
consecutive double-double games, scoring 28 points and grabbing
13 rebounds against Williamette University and scoring 23 points
and snatching 10 rebounds against Lewis and Clark College. The five-foot-eight
guard was also named MVP of the Peninsula Hoops Classic.

Williams scored 32 points in an 84-74 loss to San Diego Christian
College. He shot 55 percent and was five of six from behind the

6'8" | Senior | F | Inglewood, CA
Odo-Boms lifted CSU Maritime to their first-ever win over Dominican.
The Keelhaulers improved to 2-0 in Cal Pac play thanks to the senior
forward's 18 points and seven rebounds. He shot .500 from the field
and was eight of nine from the free throw line.

Lola Browne

5'6" | Senior | G | Oakland, CA
Browne helped her team to two wins on the week and a 7-7 overall
record. She had three assists in a conference win over CSU Maritime
Academy and had solid 11 point, six rebound performance in a non-conference
win over Whitman. Browne recorded a career high 21 points in a loss
to Whitworth College and was named to the Whit Classic All-Tournament
team. The senior guard is also leading Dominican in assists, averaging
2.36 per game.

Earnest Williams II

6'4" | Senior | G | Lancaster, CA
Williams helped Bethany win their conference opener against defending
Cal Pac Champion Dominican University of California. The senior
guard scored 24 points while grabbing four rebounds and dishing
out five assists. He carried the Bruins in a loss against Simpson,
scoring 44 of the team’s 82 points. He also had nine rebounds
and four assists in the effort. He shot .710 for the week (24 of
34) and made 19 of his 22 free throws.

5'8" | Junior | G | Honolulu, HI
Lee earns Cal Pac Player of the Week for the second straight week
for her efforts against Dominican University of California and Concordia
of Austin. The junior broke the Menlo College career record for
most field goals this weekend, in addition to recording her second
and third double-doubles of the season. She tied a career high for
points in a game, with 29, and added ten rebounds in a 74-61 win
over Dominican. She followed that with a 20 point, 11 rebound effort
in a win over Concordia of Austin. Lee shot .480 from the field
during the week.

Marshall Hartman
Holy Names University
6'7" | Senior | C | Portland, OR
Hartman drained five three-pointers on the way to a 33 point performance
in a win over NCAA Division II Hawaii Pacific University. In a loss
to Chaminade, the senior scored 21 points and pulled down five rebounds.
For the week, he shot .580 and was .500 from behind the three-point
arc.

5'8" | Junior | G | Honolulu, HI
Last season's California Pacific Conference MVP turned in a strong
performance against Mary Hardin-Baylor, posting a double-double
with 25 points and 17 rebounds. Lee also added two assists and two
steals to her effort.

6'4" | Junior | F | Seaside, CA
Jamerson averaged 22.5 points a game at the Southern Oregon Thanksgiving
Tournament. Against NAIA #4 Oregon Tech, the junior forward netted
a game-high 25 points to go with four rebounds and two assists.
On the week, the junior shot 92 percent from the free-throw line
and 50% from the field.

6'0" | Sophomore | F | Spokane, CA
Sophomore foward Sara Fairburn had a conistent week scoring 15 points
and grabbing nine rebounds in each game. The six-footer shot 48
percent from the field.

6'5" | Junior | G | Sacramento, CA
The Sacramento native posted a double-double in a three-point loss
against #13 Warner Pacific. The wing had 21 points and 10 rebounds,
while draining 11 of 14 free throws. In another three-point loss
against Fresno Pacific, Mitchell scored 15 points and grabbed 9
rebounds.

The freshman guard had 25 points in two games during the week. She
dished out seven assists in a two-point loss to Grand Canyon. In
a win against Dixie State, she nailed six three pointers, en route
to a 20 point performance.

The back-to-back Cal Pac Libero of the Year dug an incredible 50
balls en route to clinching the conference title over Dominican.
The junior also had 2 service aces as #8 Menlo clinched its third
straight Cal Pac Conference title.

The Cal Pac Honorable Mention setter had 35 assists and 21 digs
in the Cal Pac Conference championship clinching match. The junior
chipped in 2 aces and 2 blocks on the way to capturing the #8 Oaks'
third straight conference title.

The 2006 Cal Pac MVP hammred down 26 kills in Friday's match against
Dominican. The senior's offensive surge helped the #8 Oaks clinch
their third straight Cal Pac Conference title. She added 7 digs
and 2 aces on the night.

Morrison was named to the Walla Walla College All Tournament Team
after averaging 19 points a game in a pair of losses. The 6'3"
guard shot 43% from the field and 50% from 3-point territory on
the week.

6'0" | Freshman | F | Yreka, CA
The freshman post player was named to the Walla Walla College All-Tournament
Team after averaging 12 points a game. She posted a team-high 13
points against Northwest University. The six-footer also shot 62
percent from the field and 88 percent from the free throw line.

5'4" | Senior | Libero | San Bruno, CA
Chavez earned her third honor of the season, helping Dominican to
its sixth straight victory. The senior tallied 7 digs in the sweep
over Pacific Union.
Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week
Ashley Wells
Dominican University of California
5'11" | Senior | S | Maxwell, CA
Wells recorded 16 more assists in a 3-0 effort for Dominican. The
setter’s offense helped Dominican outscore their opponent
by 31 total points. The win was the Lady Penguins' sixth straight,
helping them remain in second place in the Cal Pac with an 11-1
conference record.

Brittany Baldwin
Simpson University
5'10" | Junior | MB | Palo Cedro, CA
Baldwin was Simpson's most consistent and dangerous player at the
NCCAA DI National Championship Tournament in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The junior nearly led Simpson to a come-from-behind win against
Trinity International with 20 kills, nine digs, and seven blocks.
She totaled 59 kills, 18 blocks, and 28 digs in four matches.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Pat Fahy

6'6" | Sophomore | F | Novato, CA
The sophomore posted a double-double in his first game as a Penguin,
playing all 40 minutes in an 81-70 win over Hope International.
The next night, he scored 16 points in a one-point win over Cal
Baptist. Fahy shot .548 from the field, .412 from behind the three
point arc, and was perfect from the free throw line.

Tracy Malone
William Jessup University
5'8" | Freshman | G | Grass Valley, CA
Malone helped the Lady Warriors to a 3-0 start, scoring 79 points
while shooting .410 from the field during the week. The freshman
exploded for 39 points in her first collegiate game, draining five
three pointers and racking up seven steals en route to a four-point
win over Simpson. The guard dropped 14 points and snatched 5 rebounds
in a win over Walla Walla, going perfect from the free throw line.
She posted her first double-double against Northwest Christian,
scoring 26 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.

Ono missed a penalty kick in the 60th minute of the game
but redeemed himself with a game-winning goal on a breakaway in
the 78:00 minute to capture Holy Names' third Cal Pac Conference
Championship in five seasons.

5'7" | Freshman | G | Placerville, CA
Garcia recorded back to back shutouts last week, saving all 10 shots
on goal. Garcia recorded 8 saves in a double overtime draw against
Dominican, helping clinch the program's first ever Cal Pac Championship.

5'6" | Junior | Libero | Pearl City, HI
Hewett earned her fifth nod this season as Libero of the Week for
her work against Simpson and Bethany. She averaged 8.86 digs per
game during the week and 5 service aces.

5'11" | Senior | S | Maxwell, CA
Wells had 49 assists, 18 digs, 6 aces, and 4 block assists as Dominican
defeated arch-rival Holy Names and visiting Mills College to remain
in second place in the Cal Pac with a 10-1 conference record.

The sophomore had 10 kills and 3 aces to help lift the Lady Penguins
over arch rival Holy Names. She followed that with an astounding
18 straight serves in the second game against Mill College, where
she racked up 7 service aces to lead the Lady Penguins to another
sweep and a 10-1 conference mark.

Joaquin Escoto

5'8" | Senior | MF | Guadalajara, Mexico
Escoto earned his second Cal Pac Player of the Week honor this season,
scoring five goals during the week. The midfielder scored four goals
against CSU Maritime and scored another in a win against Bethany
to lift the Hawks to a 5-0 conference mark. He is second in the
Cal Pac with 23 points on the season.

5'4" | Freshman | F | Windsor, CA
The freshman headed the lone goal off of a set piece in the 67:00
minute against Simpson University for a 1-0 Dominican victory. The
goal lifted the Lady Penguins to a 4-0 conference mark.

5'6" | Sophomore | Libero | Fall City, WA
The sophomore libero recorded 70 digs and 5 service aces during
the week. White dug a career high 36 balls against Mills in a 3-2
win.

The junior setter had 75 assists and 27 digs on the week. She recorded
20 assists in a loss to NCAA CSU East Bay, 28 assists in a loss
to first-place Menlo College, and 27 assists in a win over Bethany
University.

Eselu led the Oaks to victory with 18 kills over Holy Names. She
had seven block assists against Mills. The senior hitter posted
a .431 kill percentage for the week, making only seven errors in
72 attempts.

5'7" | Freshman | F | Philo, CA
Collins captured his first Cal Pac Player of the Week honor with
a hat trick over Pacific Union and another goal against Bethany
to tab 8 points on the week, giving him 16 on the season, the second
highest total in the Cal Pac. Collin’s play has also earned
him the honor of NAIA Region II Playerof the Week for men’s
soccer.

5'8" | Junior | F | Davis, CA
Fleming scored Dominican’s lone goal in an exhibition game
against the Ghana National Women's Soccer team on Sunday. The "Black
Queens" are touring the Bay Area in preparation for the African
Women's Championships and are ranked only second in Africa behind
Nigeria.
Women's Volleyball Libero of the Week
Colleen Boston
Holy Names University
5'5" | Junior | Libero | Oakland, CA
Boston recorded career highs of 47 digs and 5 service aces in thrilling
3-2 comeback win over Simpson University. She also tabbed 26 digs
against UC Santa Cruz and had 80 for the week. Boston is currently
second in the Cal Pac in digs, averaging 5.06 digs per game. She
had 7 aces on the week and is third in the Cal Pac in aces with
.68 per game.
Boston’s play has also earned her the honor of NAIA Region
II Libero of the Week.

Kayla Comer

5'7" | Junior | S | Red Bluff, CA
Comer recorded 105 assists during the week, with 42 against Mills
and an astounding 63 in a loss to Holy Names. The junior setter
is averaging 10.37 assists per game, which is second in the Cal
Pac. She had 6 aces on the week and leads the conference with .73
per game.

5'11" | Sophomore | MB | Honolulu, HI
Frank had three consecutive double digit kill nights, with 12 against
UC Santa Cruz, 16 against William Jessup, and 20 in a come-from-behind
win against Simpson. She also had 6 aces, 7 solo blocks, and 6 block
assists. Frank is second in the Cal Pac in aces, averaging .69 per
game.

Weaver captured his second honor of the season after notching a
goal in three straight games. Weaver led Simpson to a perfect 3-0
record on the week. The sophomore also tallied a pair of assist
for a total of 8 points in just three games.

Jackson scored two goals in the first 25 minutes of the game against

The Jessup soccer program earned its second POTW honor in as many
weeks thanks to fine play by Brad Bell. The freshman goalie allowed
one goal in 13 shots on goal against Northwest Christian College.

Stanton had the assist for WJU's only goal against Bethany and scored
a crucial goal in a 2-1 win over Northwest Christian College.

Navarro helped lift the Warriors to an undefeated week and a .500
record with four goals on the week. In a 6-4 victory against Pacific

hat trick against CSU Maritime Academy, scoring three of the five

Tedesco assisted on Simpson's first goal and then scored two herself
within two minutes of each other to give the Red Hawks a 6-0 win
over Mills in the team's Cal Pac Conference opener.

Chavez earned the honor for the second time this season by helping
her team to a 4-0 conference start. She dug seven balls against
Mills College and dug 15 more on her twenty-first birthday on Saturday.

Wells followed last week’s Setter of the Week honors with
15 assists, five digs, and four solo blocks in two games against
Mills on Friday. On Saturday, the senior helped Dominican sweep
Holy Names and improve to 4-0 in conference play, making 35 assists,
digging nine balls, and blocking three more.

Sanoe' Eselu

5'10" | Senior | OH | Waipahu, CA
The senior outside hitter consistently hit the ball in six games
last week, making 17 kills against Bethany and then adding 10 more
against UC Santa Cruz, posting a .379 kill percentage. Eselu added
six digs and four blocks on the week.
Eselu has also earned NAIA Region II Player of the Week for her
play.

5'9" | Sophomore | F | Stockton, CA
Weaver scored five goals in three games leading Simpson to a perfect
3-0 record. The sophomore forward scored the game-winner on a penalty
kick in the 100th minute to defeat Walla Walla and win the Simpson
Tournament. Weaver was named Simpson Tournament MVP.
Weaver has also earned NAIA Region II Player of the Week for his
play.

Gleason had an assist in a 3-1 win over Mills College and had the
only goal of the game in a win over Simpson.

Hewett followed last week’s Libero of the Week performance
with an 80 dig week, averaging 6.15 digs per game. She served up
6 aces while only making 2 reception errors in 94 attempts.
Hewett has also earned NAIA Region II Player of the Week for her

The freshman middle blocker helped Menlo to conference wins over
Holy Names and Mills with 15 and 17 kill performances. She also
had 12 kills against Embry-Riddle (AZ), finishing with 51 on the
week and a .406 kill percentage. Bekowies also made 13 solo blocks
and 7 block assists.
Bekowies has also earned NAIA Region II Player of the Week for her
play.

In his first game back, after missing the first two games of the
season with a concussion, Jackson scored one minute after being
subbed in to give the Penguins a 2-1 advantage against Hope International
before losing 3-2.

Anden scored 3 goals, including the lone goal of the game against
Embry-Riddle, in two games in Arizona to help the Oaks improve to

had 5 aces, 4 which came against Holy Names, and 6 blocks on the

Ghirarduzzi's goal put the Lady Penguins ahead against GSAC powerhouse
Concordia of Irvine. Her pass to Jennifer Jackson in the second
half put Dominican up for good, giving the Lady Penguins their first
win of the season to improve to 1-2.

Chavez had 44 digs in four matches, averaging just under three per
game. She had two service aces and played in 15 of the 16 games
during the week. Her 21 digs against San Diego Christian College
helped lift the Lady Penguins to a 3-2 win after dropping the first
two games of the match.

The freshman led the Dominican women in kills this weekend, posting
29 in four matches. She set a career high with nine kills in a come-from-behind
victory against San Diego Christian College. She also had 23 digs
against SDCC and added another 18 in a loss to The Master's College.
Pecora dug 56 balls, averaging just under five per game.
